Start here. No experience needed — just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Driller Level 1
Entry drilling. Supervised operation, basic maintenance
Driller Level 2
Independent operator. Multi-rig capable, reads plans
Driller Level 3
Lead driller. Complex jobs, mentoring, site authority
Blaster in Training
Learning explosives handling, safety, loading procedures
Blaster Level 1
Junior blaster. Licensed, supervised detonation
Blaster Level 2
Licensed blaster. Independent blast design & execution
Blaster Level 3
Senior blaster. Complex designs, regulatory compliance
Mechanic Apprentice
Learning the trade. Oil changes, inspections, shop work
Mechanic Level 1
Basic repair, PM schedules, tool management

Hiring

We're actively hiring across all tracks. Whether you're fresh out of school or have 20 years in the trade, there's a place for you at FDB. Eastern Ontario based, with expansion into Muskoka.

General Labourer
No experience required. Physical fitness and reliability are a must. Training provided on-site. Full-time, year-round.
Drill Operator
Experience preferred but will train the right person. Must be comfortable with heavy equipment and outdoor conditions.
Licensed Blaster
Valid Ontario blaster's licence required. Quarry and civil experience preferred. Competitive pay, year-round work.
Equipment Operator
Excavator, loader, or dozer experience. Valid driver's licence required. AZ an asset.
AZ Driver
Clean AZ licence required. Equipment transport and aggregate hauling. Eastern Ontario routes.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic
310T or apprentice. Shop and field work on drills, excavators, loaders. Welding an asset.
Marketing Director
Lead FDB's marketing strategy across all service lines. Brand development, digital presence, lead generation, and market expansion. Experience in construction or trades industry a strong asset.
Sales Director
Drive revenue growth across quarry, civil, and residential divisions. Build client relationships, manage the sales pipeline, and expand into new markets. Hunter mentality required.
